Police in Preston have launched an appeal for information after a teenage girl was reportedly sexually touched on a Stagecoach bus travelling to the city. The incident is said to have occurred at about 12.30pm on Friday 31 July on the number 2 Stagecoach service as it travelled from Much Hoole to Preston.
Investigators seek help to identify man
Lancashire Police say enquiries have already been carried out and officers want to speak to a man they believe may be connected to the allegation. They have indicated that the individual may now be in the Tarleton or Southport areas and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
"We want to speak to him in connection with our investigation into sexual touching," a Lancashire Police spokesperson said.
Police have asked witnesses, or anyone who recognises the man, to contact them by calling 101 and quoting log 798 of July 31, or by emailing [email protected].
