Blackpool Football Club will open Bloomfield Road to supporters next Monday, 3 August, inviting fans to observe the first team preparing for the opening competitive fixture of the season. The event provides a chance to see the squad under head coach Ian Evatt in the run-up to the club’s Carabao Cup tie at Grimsby Town on Saturday 8 August.
When and where
Doors at Bloomfield Road will open at 10.30am and the training session is scheduled to start at 11am. Entry will be free, with admission arranged through the Junior Seasiders gate in the South Stand. Spectators are being directed to use seating in the West Stand.
What attendees can expect

Mascot packages for the season
Separately, Blackpool have set out details of their mascot packages for the 2026/27 season aimed at junior supporters aged 13 and under. The package includes pre-match behind-the-scenes access, time in the dressing room, a pre-match kickabout with the club mascot Bloomfield Bear, leading the team onto the pitch and inclusion in matchday photography and the programme. Each mascot will also receive a Seasiders goodie bag on arrival.
