Vue Reading is encouraging families across the town to head for the big screen this summer with a new Summer Family Passport, discounted child tickets and a schedule of dedicated family-friendly screenings.

The passport allows children to collect a stamp each time they attend a qualifying family film at Vue Reading. Participants who share photos of their passport and cinema trips on a specified Vue Facebook post will be entered into a draw to win a £25 Vue gift card.

Film titles highlighted in the line-up include major family releases and returning favourites that will be eligible for stamps. Among those named are Toy Story 5, Minions & Monsters, Disney’s live-action Moana, Spider-Man: Brand New Day and PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie (arriving 7 August).

- Mighty Mornings — daily screenings of recent family favourites with advance tickets from £2.49 when booked online.
- Big Shorts — relaxed, dimmed-light sessions aimed at children aged one to four.
