Wickham Festival remained in full swing this weekend as tens of thousands of music fans and families enjoyed live performances, food stalls, camping and a broad programme of community entertainment.
Four days of music and community
The event, which runs from Thursday, 30 July to Sunday, 2 August, was staged across several stages and attracted an estimated 20,000 visitors over the four days. The weekend’s bill included folk favourites and contemporary tribute acts alongside local performers and cultural displays.
Saturday highlights and crowd favourites
Saturday’s schedule featured a strong line-up. Among the performers were The Saw Doctors, The Dhol Foundation, Ferocious Dog and The Amy Winehouse Band. Festival organisers posted on social media praising the main stage headliners after their sets.
