Emergency services remain at the scene of a serious crash on the A1 near Wansford after two lorries collided in the early hours of 28 July. What happened
Cambridgeshire Police were called at 2.50am with reports of a collision on the A1 close to Wansford. Officers, ambulance crews and fire crews attended. Two men were taken to hospital; one has suffered serious injuries and the other sustained minor injuries, the force said. Officers have remained on site to manage traffic and oversee vehicle recovery.

Road closures and diversions

Drivers are urged to follow the hollow square symbol displayed on diversion signs.
