Work has begun on a major industrial and logistics development on Willenhall Road after planning permission was secured earlier this year, with a Birmingham consultancy appointed to oversee delivery of the project.
Who is behind the scheme
TCC, a Birmingham-based multi‑disciplinary consultancy, has been selected to act as project manager, quantity surveyor and employer’s agent for the £22 million Erdgard development known as Central Point I&L. The appointment was announced after Walsall Council granted planning consent for the 100,000 sq ft scheme in April, and construction began at the site last month.
The main contractor on the project is the Warwickshire firm MCS Group, while lettings are being handled by JLL and Newmark. Erdgard intends the development to consist of multiple industrial units designed for trade, industrial and logistics operators.

Commenting on the appointment, TCC co‑founder and director Sandeep Singh Sunner said the scheme responds to a shortage of high‑quality speculative industrial space in the Midlands.
