The English Football League has confirmed its latest string of broadcast selections, with three of Shrewsbury Town’s League Two matches chosen for television — notably the local derby against Walsall and a home clash with Bristol Rovers.
Derby at midday kick-off
Shrewsbury’s meeting with Walsall at the Croud Meadow has been brought forward and will now start at 12.30pm on Saturday 9 January. The fixture is scheduled to be shown live on Sky Sports+, meaning supporters who planned travel should note the earlier kick-off time.

Also moved to an earlier Saturday afternoon slot and picked for live coverage is Shrewsbury’s home game with Bristol Rovers on Saturday 17 October, which will kick off at 12.30pm and be shown on Sky Sports+.
The club’s trip to Accrington Stanley on New Year’s Day will keep a traditional 3pm start but has been selected for live broadcast on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event. The match could feature former Shrewsbury player Shaun Whalley, now at Accrington, coming up against his old club.
