Police have confirmed a body has been located in the search for a man from Barwell who went missing in the Nuneaton area earlier this week. Officers said the death is not being treated as suspicious and that formal identification of the deceased has taken place.
The man, known as Dean and described in police statements as being from Barwell, near Hinckley, had prompted searches in and around Nuneaton after concerns were raised about his whereabouts. Officers conducting enquiries have now found a body and informed next of kin.
“Officers searching for a missing Barwell man have sadly found a body. Dean went missing in the Nuneaton area earlier this week and his death is not being treated as suspicious.
