Three men have been imprisoned following the discovery of four firearms stashed inside a vehicle on a Coventry driveway, court documents show.
Weapons hidden behind modified partition
Officers found the guns inside a Vauxhall Corsa parked on Wappenbury Road on 11 November 2025. The partition between the car’s cab and boot had been altered, allowing quick access to the weapons and associated ammunition.
Investigators linked the trio to the firearms through DNA and fingerprint analysis. Police also recovered other items during searches that led to further allegations.

Digital and physical evidence tied suspects to guns
Police arrested Williams the day after the firearms were located at an address close to where the car had been parked. Officers found a key to the Corsa at that property along with cocaine, weighing scales and multiple burner phones.
- Williams’ DNA was identified on one handgun and one shotgun; his fingerprints were on the weapon bag.
- DNA from the firearms also linked Dube and Barnett-Leslie to the recovered guns.
- Snapchat messages from Barnett-Leslie’s phone included photographs of firearms supplied by Dube, prosecutors said.
Prosecutors told the court that Barnett-Leslie discarded a bag of cocaine from his bedroom window just before his arrest.
The case underlines continued police efforts to remove dangerous weapons from Coventry streets and to pursue those involved with supplying illegal firearms and class A drugs. The sentences imposed reflect the serious nature of the offences and the forensic work which identified the suspects.
