Man, 47, held on suspicion of burglary after Worsley Hall incident

A man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary following an incident in the Worsley Hall area of Wigan over the weekend.

Greater Manchester Police say a 47-year-old was detained on Sunday, 26 July, and remains in custody while officers continue their enquiries. The arrest was made as part of Operation Castle, the force’s specialist initiative aimed at reducing the number of domestic burglaries across the region.
