A man in his 20s who stopped a police patrol car on London Road in Leicester late on Wednesday has died in hospital after sustaining multiple stab wounds, police have confirmed. The injured man was found shortly after 10.45pm on 22 July and transported to hospital by ambulance, where he later died in the early hours of Thursday.
