Appeal after midnight crash leaves teen critically injured
A teenager is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a serious collision on the A41 between Bourne End and Tring in the early hours of Saturday. Hertfordshire Constabulary said a black BMW travelling northbound struck the central reservation and crossed into the opposite carriageway at around 12.10am on 19 July.
Officers confirmed that a 48-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences and remains in custody. The teenage passenger suffered grievous injuries and is described by police as being in a life-threatening condition.
