Clubland By The Sea made its fourth consecutive visit to Seaton Reach on Friday, drawing thousands of dance music fans to the Seaton Carew shoreline for an evening of live DJs and open-air performances.

Line-up and atmosphere

The festival featured more than 50 artists performing across three stages, with the main stage headliners this year billed as German dance act Cascada and DJ Ben Nicky. Other performers on the open-air main stage included Ultrabeat, Andy Whitby, Shugz, Flip n Fill featuring Karen Parry, Kelly Llorenna, Ian Van Dahl and Jayne White.

Organisers said the event marked their fourth year in Hartlepool. Photographs from the night captured large, lively crowds enjoying the music and summer evening; a number of images from the festival were taken by photographer Madeleine Raine.

Local impact

Large-scale events on Seaton Reach bring immediate footfall into Seaton Carew and support hospitality traders and temporary vendors on site. For residents and visitors, the festival provides an evening of entertainment on the coast but also requires consideration of travel, parking and stewarding arrangements around the promenade.

Those attending future events in Hartlepool may wish to allow extra time for arrival and departure, and to check public transport options and any guidance from organisers on site access and safety measures.

Photos from the night

The event was photographed across the site, with images showing groups enjoying the music, families and friends making the most of the summer night, and performers on stage. Selected images from the festival were provided by Madeleine Raine.

Clubland By The Sea's return underscores a continuing appetite for outdoor dance events along Hartlepool's coastline as organisers plan future editions.
