Northumbria Police have launched an appeal for information after a 34-year-old woman was reported missing following her last known sighting near the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI) in Newcastle city centre on 16 July.
Where she was last seen and where she may have links
The woman, named in police communications as Stephanie, was reported missing to officers on 23 July after being seen in the vicinity of the RVI on 16 July. Since that time, police have carried out a range of enquiries but have so far been unable to locate her.
Officers say Stephanie has connections across the north-east. The areas specifically identified as places she may have links to include:
- Newcastle (RVI and surrounding city centre)
- South Shields
- Gateshead
- Durham
- Cleveland
- Hartlepool
- Darlington
- North Yorkshire
Description and how to report information
Police describe Stephanie as a white woman, approximately 5ft 5in tall, of slim build with long dark brown hair. Anyone who has seen her or who believes they know of her whereabouts is urged to contact Northumbria Police.
