An 88-year-old woman has died after a two-vehicle collision on Ranmoor Park Road in Ranmoor, Sheffield, police have confirmed.

South Yorkshire Police were called at 12.45pm on Sunday 26 July after reports of a crash involving a red Honda Jazz and a grey Nissan Note near St John’s Church. The deceased was a passenger in the Honda. Three other people in the same car, all described as being in their 80s, were also taken to hospital.

One of the other occupants, an 88-year-old man who was driving the Honda Jazz, received treatment in hospital and has since been discharged. A man and a woman, also in their 80s and travelling as passengers in the Honda, suffered minor injuries.
