Haydock Park Racecourse will host its signature Betway Rose of Lancaster Stakes – Ladies Day on Saturday 8 August, forming part of a two-day meeting that begins on Friday 7 August. The event returns to the calendar following a recent pause while essential track repairs were carried out.
What to expect on the weekend
The weekend pairs top-level racing with live entertainment and fashion. The headline race on Saturday is the Group Three Betway Rose of Lancaster Stakes, a 10-furlong contest with a history of producing horses that go on to Group One success.
- Friday 7 August: Evening entertainment opens with a DJ set from Pete Tong.
- Saturday 8 August: Ladies Day features the Rose of Lancaster Stakes, live music including closing set from Kayla Lou, and the Style Awards.
- Prize on offer: The Style Awards winner receives a £1,000 holiday voucher and tickets to the 2027 Randox Grand National Festival at Aintree.
"There's always a fantastic atmosphere on Ladies Day and we're looking forward to welcoming thousands of racegoers for what promises to be another memorable occasion," said Simon Tonge, general manager of Haydock Park Racecourse.
How the Style Awards work
Racegoers wishing to enter the Style Awards can visit one of the Style Pods located at the racecourse entrances to have a professional photograph taken. A judging panel, which includes Gemma Cutting from The Guide, will pick three finalists before announcing an overall winner on the day.
Practical information for attendees
The meeting will attract large crowds and delivers both social and sporting highlights. Attendees should allow extra time for travel and parking on both days. As this fixture follows repairs to the track, organisers say the course will be in good condition for the weekend's races.
