“A number of properties were temporarily without water for under 4 hours overnight on Saturday whilst our contractors, M Group, attended a burst main on Fenton Road, Rotherham. The burst was repaired very quickly and supplies restored however, considerable consequential damage occurred and a partial road closure remains in place to keep everyone safe whilst damage to the highway is repaired.”
The company added an apology for the disruption and thanked local people for their patience.
