North Yorkshire Police and local communities are searching for a 15-year-old girl who has not been seen since Wednesday afternoon in the Acomb area of York. The teenager, named by police as Lexi, was last at her home at about 3pm on 29 July and has not returned.
What officers have said
Police have circulated a description and asked anyone with information to make contact straight away. They have provided an incident reference number to quote when calling.
“If you see Lexi, please call 999. If you have any other information that could help us find her, please call us on 101 and select option 1 to speak to our control room.”
The force asked members of the public to quote 12260145715 when passing on information.
How Lexi has been described
Officers say Lexi is white, approximately 6ft tall and of a slim build, with shoulder-length straight brown hair.
