Swindon police are investigating an attack on a teenager at Rivermead Skate Park in which the victim was both assaulted and robbed. The incident occurred on 24 July between approximately 4.30pm and 5pm, according to a police statement.
What happened
A 16-year-old boy was approached by two males at the skate park. The men reportedly took his scooter and a bag containing his mobile phone, bank card and other personal effects. The victim was then kicked and punched and put in a headlock. He managed to recover his backpack and scooter and the suspects left the scene before witnesses summoned an ambulance.
"We are keen to speak to anyone who was at the skate park between 4pm and 5pm on July 24 who may be able to help police with their enquiries."
