West Yorkshire Police have released body-worn camera footage showing officers forcing entry to a house in Bradford during a dawn operation that has resulted in two arrests.
Raid on Holmewood property
The operation took place at a property on Muirhead Drive, Holmewood, where officers say they found and recovered a range of items linked to drug supply. A man and a woman, aged 45 and 42 respectively, were detained on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and remain in custody.
Police confirmed items seized included crack cocaine, around £4,000 in cash, a knife, several mobile phones and a stolen motorcycle. The force released footage from officers’ bodycams showing the moment they gained entry to the house.

Sergeant Charlie Smallwood, of the Bradford South Neighbourhood Policing Team working on Operation Sweetgill, said the arrests follow targeted policing activity to disrupt local drugs supply. He stressed the link between drug distribution and violence in communities and urged the public to assist with intelligence.
“We take a proactive approach to tackling drugs, and these arrests are the culmination of hard work and diligence by our officers… I would urge members of the public to provide intelligence to the police in relation to drug offences or concerns about suspicious activity.”
