A jury has been sworn in at Bradford Crown Court for a trial linked to a double stabbing on Seymour Street, off Leeds Road, in the city last year. The case, due to run for around 12 weeks, involves six people who all plead not guilty to the charges they face.
Allegations and charges
West Yorkshire Police were called to the scene at 10.13pm on 11 May 2025, after reports that a man had been stabbed. Two men were taken to hospital: one suffered serious injuries, the other injuries described as non-life-threatening.
The charges brought before the jury include multiple counts of alleged conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm with intent. Five of the defendants are accused in relation to alleged plots against two named men between 1 and 12 May 2025. Separately, two people face allegations of attempting to pervert the course of justice by acquiring and disseminating confidential police information.
