A five-year-old child has died after being discovered in a body of water in Badsey, West Mercia Police have confirmed.

Officers were called following a report of a missing child on the evening of 29 July. The child was located in a body of water and was unresponsive when emergency crews arrived. Despite efforts by ambulance staff and police, the young child was later pronounced dead at the scene.
