Worcestershire County Council has launched a new, fully funded business support initiative aimed at helping local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) become more competitive, more productive and better positioned to attract investment.
What the programme offers
The Advance Worcestershire Pathway Programme is delivered on the council’s behalf by Oxford Innovation Advice. It promises tailored support across three distinct routes: innovation, manufacturing and investment readiness.
Every business taking part will receive a minimum of six hours of one-to-one time with a specialist adviser. Those assessed as having higher growth potential can move to a second phase, receiving at least eight further hours of focused assistance to help put plans into action and overcome technical or strategic hurdles.
