A motorist from Luton has been fined and handed penalty points after admitting he was driving at 60mph on a stretch of the A494 in Flintshire where the limit is 50mph.

Shaahid Bangaroo, 32, of Moat Lane in Luton, appeared by video link at Mold Magistrates’ Court on Monday. Prosecutor Alun Williams told the court that on 29 June last year Bangaroo was recorded travelling at 60mph on the A494 between Deeside Industrial Park and the Queensferry interchange, a section subject to a 50mph speed limit.
