A man in his 30s remains in hospital with life‑threatening injuries after an electric bike he was riding struck a house in Edgeley at lunchtime on Thursday, Greater Manchester Police have confirmed.

Emergency services were called to Alder Grove at around 1.38pm on 30 July following reports of a collision. Officers found a sole rider of a Sur‑Ron electric bike had collided with a property on the street.
