Essex Police have renewed an appeal for information after a man in his 50s sustained a head injury in an assault on Gordon Road at the junction with Queen’s Road in Southend-on-Sea.

The attack occurred at about 2.30pm on Saturday 11 July. Officers have released images of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident and are asking anyone who recognises him to make contact.
Police are also seeking any CCTV, doorbell, dashcam or other footage which might assist their enquiries and have urged local residents and road users to check devices which may have recorded the area at that time.
