Police have arrested six men following a reported stabbing on London Road, Portsmouth that left a 19-year-old with injuries to his head and hand. Emergency services were called shortly after 8pm on Thursday 30 July, and the victim was taken to hospital with what officers described as serious but not life-threatening wounds.

Police have said that two of the 17-year-olds and the 23-year-old were later released from custody and will face no further action in relation to these arrests. The force stressed that enquiries remain ongoing and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
