The Warwickshire Bears Women have confirmed the signing of India international Pratika Rawal on a contract that runs until the end of the 2026 season, the club announced on Tuesday. The 25-year-old top-order batter is due to join the squad ahead of the Metro Bank One Day Cup fixtures that resume in mid‑August.

Rawal will be in contention for selection for Warwickshire’s One Day Cup match against Yorkshire at Edgbaston on Friday 19 August, providing the Bears with an experienced opening option as they seek to maintain momentum in the competition.

Rawal made her international debut for India in 2024 and has quickly made an impact in 50-over cricket. Across her first ten ODIs she scored in excess of 600 runs at an average of close to 70. She was the leading run‑scorer at the 2025 World Cup, amassing 308 runs, and contributed a century in a decisive group match against New Zealand. She made her Test debut in March, scoring 68 in the second innings against Australia.
