Darlington will see significant traffic disruption this weekend as the Darlington Running Festival takes place, with a swathe of town-centre roads subject to full or partial closures while races run through the morning.
Where and when the closures apply
The main race route will be under a full closure. Two principal thoroughfares — Woodland Road and Carmel Road North — are confirmed as completely shut for parts of the event. A number of other streets will also be closed for varying hours during the morning.

Access and local effects
Some closures are limited to certain carriageways: for example, Tubwell Row's westbound side will be closed between Church Row and East Row. Feethams has a shorter closure window. Carmel Road North will only be open to pedestrians accessing West Cemetery during the closure period.
