Community fills Hopetown for school holiday celebration
Hundreds of families spent Saturday (25 July) in Hopetown, Darlington, as a summer event aimed at children and carers brought together film, heritage and hands-on activities across the Goods Yard and Foundry Green.
The Summer Family Fun Day saw a steady stream of visitors queuing to meet Paddington Bear on the Goods Yard Platform, with organised sessions running from the morning until late afternoon to accommodate demand.
