Four men have been charged in connection with the abduction and assault of a man in Ilkeston late last month and have been remanded to appear at Derby Crown Court later this month.
Arrests follow Bridge Street incident
Derbyshire Police say the incident occurred on 30 July in Bridge Street, Ilkeston, when a man in his 20s was taken from the area against his will. Officers subsequently located the victim and made a number of arrests as inquiries continued.

Four men have now been charged with offences including kidnap and assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH). They appeared before Southern Derbyshire Magistrates' Court on Saturday and were remanded in custody to appear at Derby Crown Court on 28 August.
Who has been charged and with what
The charged defendants are residents of Ilkeston, Ironville (Nottinghamshire) and Stapleford (Nottinghamshire). Additional charges have been brought in relation to one suspect for an earlier alleged assault and another for an alleged weapons offence.
