A man in his 20s remains in hospital with injuries described as life‑threatening after his electric bike was involved in a collision with a Tesla on Holden Road in Leigh on the evening of Friday 31 July.
Police appeal for witnesses and footage
The crash occurred at around 5pm, and Greater Manchester Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) has opened an inquiry. Officers are asking anyone who saw the incident, or who has CCTV, dashcam, doorbell or mobile phone footage from the area, to come forward.
"As part of this investigation, we are appealing for anyone with information to come forward. This includes anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV, dashcam, doorbell or mobile phone footage from the area."
Police say the rider of the Sur‑Ron electric bike was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are being treated as life‑threatening. No further details about the condition of the rider or about any other parties involved have been released by the force at this stage.
