The southbound carriageway of the M1 close to London Luton Airport was closed overnight following a multi-vehicle collision that left an HGV on its side and a large quantity of diesel across the road.
What happened
Emergency services attended after the crash, which occurred at about 8.45pm. Bedfordshire Police, National Highways traffic officers and other response teams were at the scene.
