Bedfordshire Police have launched a murder investigation after a 17-year-old boy died following a stabbing at Kingsway Recreation Ground in Luton on Friday evening. Officers were called to the park shortly after 6.30pm amid reports of disorder involving a group of teenagers.

Two teenage boys who were initially arrested on suspicion of violent disorder have since been re-arrested on suspicion of murder. Police say one of those suspects remains in hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while the other is in police custody.
