Urgent appeal for help to find missing 13‑year‑old
Police in Bolton have launched an urgent appeal to trace a missing 13‑year‑old girl last seen on the evening of 27 July. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the teenager, named as Mia, was spotted in Glenbrook Gardens at about 8.20pm and has not been traced since.
Officers shared the appeal on social media in the early hours of Tuesday at around 2am, saying they are "becoming increasingly concerned" for Mia's welfare.

What police have asked the public to look for
GMP have provided a description to help the public identify Mia. She is said to be around 4ft tall with straight, shoulder‑length brown hair. When last seen she was wearing:
- Grey leggings
- Black jacket
- Black socks
- Beige Crocs
Anyone who believes they have seen Mia, or who has information about her whereabouts, is asked to contact GMP immediately.
