Thames Valley Police have issued images of a distinctive bicycle they hope the public can identify amid an ongoing murder investigation in Milton Keynes. Officers say the bike may provide vital information as detectives continue inquiries into the death of an 18-year-old man.
Appeal focuses on customised Sur-Ron Light Bee X
The bicycle is described by police as a customised Sur-Ron Light Bee X finished in dark green and gold with an RAF-style marking on the front. It was last seen in the Bleak Hall area at about 4.40pm on Sunday 5 July, heading towards Coffee Hall. Officers add it is often ridden on the Red Ways around the city.
"We are releasing these images of a bike as we believe that it may have vital information in connection with this incident," said Detective Inspector Amy Fox of the major crime unit.
The appeal follows the death of Fariss Kapaga-Fakeer. South Central Ambulance crews called police after discovering him in Bradwell Common with injuries believed to be stab wounds. He was taken to hospital but later died.

Investigators are asking for anyone who recognises the bicycle, or who saw it in the Bleak Hall, Coffee Hall or nearby Red Ways on or around 5 July, to come forward. Information can be provided in several ways:

Detective Inspector Fox said the photograph showing the front of the bike with the RAF-style marking was of particular interest to investigators.

Police continue to treat the death as a homicide and the investigation remains live. Detectives have appealed to anyone with dashcam, cycle-cam or mobile phone footage from the Red Ways or surrounding roads on the afternoon of 5 July to check recordings and contact officers if they capture relevant images.
