Thames Valley Police have been given additional time to question two people arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing in Bletchley that left a 26-year-old man dead.

Officers responded to reports of a stabbing on Brooklands Road at about 23:20 BST on Thursday. A 26-year-old man died at the scene and has not yet been formally identified. Thames Valley Police have been granted extra detention time for two people: a 16-year-old boy from Milton Keynes and a 36-year-old man from Aylesbury. A third person, a 25-year-old man from Milton Keynes, was arrested but later released with no further action.

"We remain in the early stages of this complex and fast-moving murder investigation," said Detective Superintendent Jon Capps.
