Police investigating the fatal stabbing of an 18-year-old in Bradwell Common have released images of a distinctive electric bike as part of their enquiries and are appealing to the public for information.

Officers say they are trying to identify the owner or anyone who recognises a customised Sur-Ron Light Bee X bike, described as dark green and gold with an RAF-style marking on the front. The machine was last sighted in the Bleak Hall area on 5 July at about 4.40pm, travelling towards Coffee Hall. Detectives believe the bike is often used on the city’s redway network.

Ongoing murder investigation and charged suspects
The appeal relates to the death of Fariss Kapaga-Fakeer, 18, who was fatally stabbed in Bradwell Common on the afternoon of Sunday 5 July. Two people have been charged in connection with the killing and are due to appear at court in the autumn.
