Medway resident Barbara Ann Ball, 76, remembered after passing

Barbara Ann (Andrews) Ball, aged 76, who had been a resident of Medway for the past five years, died on Friday 17 July 2026 at Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place, and a Celebration of her Life will be scheduled at a later date.

Early life and work

Born in Newton, Massachusetts, Mrs Ball was the daughter of the late Guido Andrews and Mary (Garafalo) Andrews. She attended public schools in Newton and graduated from Newton High School. Early in her working life she trained and worked as a hair stylist in a salon and later spent many years employed as a home health aide.

Family and local ties

Mrs Ball had lived most of her life in Newton before moving to Medway five years ago. She was the wife of the late David M. Ball. Her family survivors include three children and an extended family across Massachusetts and beyond.

• Children: John F. Buckley (and his wife Helen) of Winter Park, Florida; Christian M. Buckley of California; Douglas M. Buckley (and his wife Susan) of Milford, Massachusetts.
• Grandchildren: six.
• Great-grandchildren: eight.
• Siblings: brother Louis Andrews (and his wife Mary) of Mansfield; sister Janice Porter of Medfield.
• Also survived by two nieces.

Practical arrangements

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford, Massachusetts. The family has announced that cremation will take place and that details of a celebration of life will be published when confirmed.
