Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) and Germany’s GATE Alliance have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to create a new transatlantic route for testing and commercialising airport technology, the organisations announced at the Farnborough International Airshow.
What the agreement does
The MOU establishes a framework to link GATE Alliance members—an association of airport technology companies in Germany—with CVG’s aviation ecosystem in the United States. It aims to help vendors validate emerging systems in real-world environments, accelerate pilots and open new markets on both sides of the Atlantic.
